  • Basic White:             2 ½” x 1 ¾”           3 ¾” x 5”
  • Awash DSP:            5 ¼” x  4”
  • Design a Daydream DSP:  2 ¾” x 6”

Instructions:

  • Score card base at 4 ¼”
  • Die cut the larger Basic White piece with the Stitched with Whimsy Die (for the inside of the card)
  • Attach the Old Olive ribbon (about 4 ¾”) around the front of the DSP piece and adhere to the back
  • Punch out the smaller Basic White piece with the Lasting Label die
  • Stamp the sentiment from Nature’s Prints with Mossy Meadow ink.  Using a sponge dauber, ink the edges with Mossy Meadow
  • Attach the card front to the card base with Seal or your favorite adhesive.
  • Attach the sentiment piece to the card front with dimensionals.
  • Decorate with the Brushed Brass Butterflies
  • On the inside attach the Stitched with Whimsy piece
  • Cover the flap of the envelope with the Design a Daydream piece with Multipurpose glue and trim around the edges with paper snips

I try to always decorate the envelope in some way--either covering the flap with DSP or stamping on the envelope.  Who doesn't want to open a pretty envelope?  It creates a little excitement before getting to the main event!  And if the card base is a color, I always use some white cardstock on the inside and it's even better decorated in some way!
