One Sheet Wonder Cards, #2
This is the second in a series of 9 cards made with the Succulent Garden DSP and using a One Sheet Wonder template.
This card uses a 3" x 4" piece of Succulent Garden DSP from a One Sheet Wonder template.
I started with a card base of Mint Macaron card stock. To dress up the front, I used my Simply Scored Scoring Tool to make score lines 1/4" in from the edge along all 4 sides.
I adhered the designer paper to a piece of Sweet Sugarplum card stock cut to 3-1/4 x 4-1/4". I then adhered that to the card front, centering it.
I wanted to use two different colors on the sentiment and for me the easiest way is to color the stamp with markers. I used the Mint Macaron and the Sweet Sugarplum markers. Because you might have to stamp this more than once to get a good image, I would recommend using the Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp this. I used my MISTI but I know not everyone has that and Stampin' Up! doesn't sell it...yet! Color what you want, huff on it to reactivate the color, and stamp on Whisper White card stock.
Even after all that, I didn't get as clear an image as I wanted. So I took my blender pen and touched the tip to the brush tip of the marker and filled in spots that were not fully filled in.
I cut out the sentiment using the Big Shot and the Stitched Shapes framelits (love, love, love these!) and then cut out a larger scalloped oval from the Layering Shapes Oval framelits. I adhered the two pieces together and put them on the card using dimensionals.
To embellish, I used a heart from the In Color Enamel Shapes and a circle. I then added a rhinestone for the top of the "i"
