This was one of the cards for my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack and was inspired by a card by Wanda Williams. This card has very little stamping and is a quick and easy card to make.
I'm heading out to Atlanta for the On Stage Local event. It's being held on Saturday and I'm so excited!!! I always return rejuvenated and excited for stamping! At this event we'll be receiving a copy of the new Occasions catalog (which will be coming to you in January) and I'm excited to see what new goodies Stampin' Up! has in store for us! I know I'll come home with at least one new stamp set so that will jumpstart my cardmaking for spring. I'll be able to order a few things from that catalog early and will showcase them for you when I get them.
We'll get to try out some of the new items in the catalog and of course, swapping is a big deal at these events. I showed you one of my cards I am swapping and now I have another one to show you!
You can view and print the instructions here.
Have a great weekend and I'll be back to show you some of the swap cards I received! Happy Stamping!

My grandson turns 6 next week and I made his birthday card this week. He played flag football this fall (his last game was on Saturday and he scored a touchdown!) so I decided to make his card about football.
My "theme" for birthday cards this year is slider/spinner so all of the children get those kinds of cards. I used the retired stamp set Simply Sports and some football paper I had lying around the craft room. The slider portion is done using the Sliding Star Framelits (141820) from the annual catalog.
I love stitched dies! They give your projects such a finished look. We asked for them and Stampin' Up! has delivered! These were supposed to be new in the annual catalog coming out next June but they decided to release them early. Happy Dance! I love that you get 3 different shapes--circles, ovals, and squares--all in one set! 12 dies for $30. What a super deal! AND these dies coordinate with the Layering Dies that were released in the annual catalog.
And for the month of November Stampin' Up! has some stamp sets for 25% off! So if you had some items on your wish list that you hadn't gotten yet--now is a great time to purchase these stamp sets!
Here's a look at those stamp sets
Here are links to all those items: Stitched dies, Greetings from Santa Wood Mount, Greetings from Santa Clear Mount, Blooms & Wishes, Baby Bear, Christmas Pines, Tin of Tags, Merry Mice Wood Mount, Merry Mice Clear Mount, Suite Seasons Wood Mount, Suite Seasons Clear Mount, Oh What Fun, and Hang Your Stocking

Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock... Time is running out to take advantage of the Designer Series Paper BOGO special--BUY 3, GET 1 FREE! This special ends on Halloween, October 31 at 11:50 MT.
Apparently there has been some confusion about this special. ONLY the paper pictured above is eligible for the special. Please don't let this special pass you by if you love pretty paper! The quality of Stampin' Up!'s paper is superb! It's double-sided and color-coordinated. Stampin' Up! even makes it easy to know what color ink and card stock matches--they post all those colors on the paper packs! I often use the heavyweight cardboard that comes in the packs to make dividers for my finished cards, dies, or stamps. It's easy to cut up to whatever size you need.
