My husband's aunt turns 100 and this is the card I made for her
As promised, here is the 2nd of the 9 cards made using my One Sheet Wonder template
You can find the directions and a printable instruction sheet here
Do you hoard your pretty papers? DON'T! I used the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper to make a series of One Sheet Wonder Cards. Not familiar with One Sheet Wonder (OSW) cards? You use a template to cut up a sheet of pretty paper (12 x 12, 8.5 x 11, 6 x 6) and use those cuts to make cards. You can find templates on pinterest or google. It's a great way to create a large number of cards for your stash or if you just need to make a lot of cards at once. So just using one single sheet of two-sided designer paper, I was able to create 9 cards!
This is the first card from that set of cards.
This series also helps work in the series of posts highlighting Sale-a-Bration and the Occasions Catalog! The Succulent Garden Suite is found in the Occasions catalog on pages 20-21. It's also featured on the cover of the catalog. The sentiments come from the Sending Thoughts stamp set on page 44. I love that there is more than one stamp set in the Occasions catalog that features stamps for both the inside AND the outside of the card! I love having matching sentiments when I am sending cards!
Here is the inside of the card
I did use a retired punch to decorate the inside (why did they retire this punch???? I love being able to pretty up the insides of my cards!)
All the details and a printable instruction list can be found here
The second card is this series will be available tomorrow.
Today I wanted to share I card I made using the Inside the Lines 12 x 12 paper available FREE in the Sale-a-Bration catalog.
Instructions for making this card can be found here
And of course you can color this paper with whatever medium you prefer--colored pencils, markers, watercolors, etc.
Remember this paper is FREE with a $50 purchase!
Today is the last day to RSVP to attend the Birthday Bright Kit class IF you want me to purchase your kit for you. If you plan to purchase the kit yourself (and you'll need to do that immediately to ensure you receive it in time for the class), just let me know by January 16 that you will be attending. This class will be putting together the Birthday Bright kit and the cost is $35, which includes the kit. If you are purchasing it yourself, the cost will be $10 (and always free to my team members who have already purchased the kit!)
This kit contains all you need (except for the stamp set, which I will provide) to make 12 cards and 12 tags. You can also put those tags on card fronts if you don't need tags. I will provide card bases for that purpose. You also receive the really cute storage box for your completed cards!
If you wish to purchase the kit yourself, you can purchase it here. If you add to your order to reach $50, you'll receive a FREE Sale-a-Bration item for every $50 you order--NO LIMIT! Remember to use the HOST CODE 672YH62B for any orders under $150. You will then be entered to win host rewards from all the orders for the month. This code expires 1/26. And if your order is more than $150, please do NOT use the code! You will be earning rewards yourself!
I am trying something new--HOST CODES! When you shop with me and your purchase is under $150, use the current month's host code and you will be entered to win rewards for the month. Everyone who uses the code will receive something. If your purchase is over $150, do NOT use the host code--you will receive your own Stampin' Rewards!
And during Sale-a-Bration, if you purchase $250 or more, you'll receive an additional $25 in rewards!
So, whether you have a "party" or just a huge order, you get those extra rewards!
Here is the Host code for January (good until January 26, when I'll create a new Host code for the month of February):
