I am having my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack and one of the cards we are making is this one

                               

I love using the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper for the Santa and his beard!  The Emerald Envy Ribbon is from the new Occasions catalog, available January 4, 2017.

This was one of the cards for my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack and was inspired by a card by Wanda Williams. This card has very little stamping and is a quick and easy card to make.

This is one of the cards for my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. I love this Santa!

On the 5th of November I am attending the On Stage Atlanta event (the "local" event in conjunction with the Stampin' Up! event in Australia). Swapping card fronts is a big part of these events and here is the card I created.

I'm heading out to Atlanta for the On Stage Local event.  It's being held on Saturday and I'm so excited!!!  I always return rejuvenated and excited for stamping!  At this event we'll be receiving a copy of the new Occasions catalog (which will be coming to you in January) and I'm excited to see what new goodies Stampin' Up! has in store for us!  I know I'll come home with at least one new stamp set so that will jumpstart my cardmaking for spring.  I'll be able to order a few things from that catalog early and will showcase them for you when I get them.

We'll get to try out some of the new items in the catalog and of course, swapping is a big deal at these events.  I showed you one of my cards I am swapping and now I have another one to show you!

My grandson turns 6 next week and I made his birthday card this week.  He played flag football this fall (his last game was on Saturday and he scored a touchdown!) so I decided to make his card about football.

                                                        

My "theme" for birthday cards this year is slider/spinner so all of the children get those kinds of cards.  I used the retired stamp set Simply Sports and some football paper I had lying around the craft room.  The slider portion is done using the Sliding Star Framelits (141820) from the annual catalog.

I love stitched dies!  They give your projects such a finished look.  We asked for them and Stampin' Up! has delivered!  These were supposed to be new in the annual catalog coming out next June but they decided to release them early.  Happy Dance!  I love that you get 3 different shapes--circles, ovals, and squares--all in one set!  12 dies for $30.  What a super deal!  AND these dies coordinate with the Layering Dies that were released in the annual catalog.
