S imple, pretty Christmas card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, Foil Sheets, and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer and Paper Snips:
- card from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Mossy Meadow Cardstock
- 2-5/8" x 3-7/8" from Gold Foil Sheets
- 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" of gold diamonds on red background design from Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper, cut so the diamonds are horizontal on the horizontal rectangle
- 2" x 3-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- small rose and leaves hand cut from small roses and leaves on white background design from Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper
Lightly spritz the Mossy Meadow rectangle with water and insert into the Tufted 3D Embossing Folder so the diamonds will run horizontally across the horizontal rectangle. Place the folder with the paper inside on your die cutting and embossing tool and run through the machine. Set aside to dry.
Use strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the designer paper rectangle to the Gold Foil Sheets rectangle.
As you are ready to stamp using the Christmas Rose Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "May this Christmas..." or "Wishing you the gifts..." sentiment from the Christmas Rose Photopolymer Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the white strip in the center. Leave room to punch the sentiment out.
Unlock the Tailored Tag Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped sentiment into the punch, get it centered in the punching area, and punch.
If you haven't already done so, use Paper Snips to cut out a small rose and leaves from a sheet of Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper.
If the dry embossed Mossy Meadow rectangle is dry, proceed with the next step.
Tip: You can speed up drying with a Heat Tool if needed.
Adhere the dry embossed Mossy Meadow rectangle to the front of the Cherry Cobbler card.
Use strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the matted designer paper/foil sheet rectangle to the front of the card in the center.
Adhere the sentiment punch out to the front of the card so it overlaps the lower left corner of the matted designer paper a bit.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the cut out designer paper rose to the front of the card on the right side of the sentiment punch out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick tool to pick up a dot from a sheet of Gold Glitter Enamel Dots being sure to get the adhesive as well. Adhere it to the upper right corner of the matted designer paper.
