C riss Cross Card created with the Snail Mail Suite.
Project Recipe
Dimensions:
Real Red 2 pieces 11 X 4-1/4" scored at 5-1/2"
Bermuda Bay: 5" X 3-5/8", 4-1/4" X 3-1/4"
Basic White: 4-3/4" X 3-3/8", 3-1/2" x 2-3/4"
DSP: 2 pieces 5-1/4" X 4" each cut in half diagonally, you will have 2 extra triangles to use on another card.
Fold both pieces of Real Red CS in half on the score line. Place so that one fold is on the left and the other piece has the fold on the right and cut on the diagonal from the fold to the lower corner.
Use a strong adhesive such as tear 'n tape and put the two pieces of real red cardstock together so that when you close it, it looks like the photo, but DO NOT seal it just yet. You need to place the DSP triangles on the front first.
After you add the DSP triangles, close the card and seal along the bottom of each flap. Be sure to use a strong adhesive.
Stamp the Happy Mail enclosed stamp and fussy cut it out.
Use the dies to cut out the envelope tab for the insert. (The die for this is actually to cut out the little envelope on that Happy Mail enclosed stamp, but it works perfectly for a pull tab.) Both of these are cut from the Bermuda Bay piece of CS.
Also cut out 4 red hearts from one of the triangles that you cut off the card.
Finally cut out the letter insert with the die.
Complete the card by folding the little envelope and adding the letter insert. Mount the letter to the inside of the small envelope using a dimensional.
Finish card as shown.
