Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-1/4" square from Basic White Cardstock
Fold together one box from the Scalloped Gift Card Boxes. Tuck the scalloped front flap inside of the box so it stays closed.
Scribble a thin line of the silver Metallic Enamel Effects Basics on the lid of the box. Use the bottom of one of the Palette Knives to spread the enamel effects across the lid in a thin layer until happy with the effect. Add more enamel basics as needed. Set aside to dry.
Tip: Clean the Palette Knife off immediately. I just wiped it clean with a baby wipe.
As you are ready to stamp using the Flower Cart Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "have a lovely day" sentiment from the Flower Cart Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square.
Pick out the die from the Spotlight On Nature Dies that cuts out a circle that is 1-5/8" in diameter and has dots and dashes all around the outer edge. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Mount the line of four flower pots image from the Flower Cart Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Crumb Cake strip.
Pick out the matching, open line of four flower pots die from the Flower Cart Dies. Put it on top of the stamped flower pots on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Mount the line of plant leaves with open spaces for flowers image from the Flower Cart Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white strip.
Mount the line of flowers image from the Flower Cart Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it inside the open spaces of the previously stamped green leaves on the white strip. WITHOUT RE-INKING, shift the stamp over slightly and stamp again to get fuller flowers with two tones.
Pick out the matching, open line of flowers and leaves die from the Flower Cart Dies. Put it on top of the stamped flowers and leaves image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Once the enamel basics on the top of the box is dry, lay the pieces on top to figure out spacing and placement. Adhere them in place one at a time as shown. Use Tear & Tape Adhesive strips to adhere the flower pots and sentiment circle. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the flowers and leaves.
Cut an 8" piece of the silver ribbon from the Gold & Silver 1/8" Trim Combo Pack.
Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon bow to the top of the box lid as shown.
Working on a scrap piece of paper, gently squeeze the silver Metallic Enamel Effects Basics to make sure there are no air bubbles in the tip. Then, gently squeeze the silver enamel basics onto the box lid to make three silver dots as shown.
Working on a scrap piece of paper, gently squeeze the Real Red Pearlized Enamel Effects Basics to make sure there are no air bubbles in the tip. Then, gently squeeze the red enamel basics onto the box lid to make tiny dots in the centers of the flowers second from the right.
Set the box aside to dry.
Fill the box with treats and give it to someone to make their day!
