T his is a cute fun fold card that is easy to create and fun to share!
Project Recipe
What you'll need:
Card base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2 " scored at 4 1/4"
Card Stock Insert: 6" x 4 1/2" scored at 2" & 4" after attaching the DSP
Basic White Card Stock: 3" x 3 1/2" scored at 1 1/2"
DSP: (2) 5 1/4" x 4"
5 3/4" x 4 1/4" (same print or coordinating)
Dies to cut a shape out of the middle of the card front
Stamps or dies cuts to decorate the card
Adhesive
Embellishments (optional)
Burnish fold of the card base and set aside
Attach the DSP panel (5 3/4" x 4 1/4") to the card stock insert. Score at 2" & 4". Accordion fold to create a "Z"
Burnish the fold of the basic white sentiment panel. Fold in half and attach to the valley fold in the insert panel. Set aside
Adhere one of the remaining DSP panels to the front of the card base. Using a die, cut a shape out the middle of the card front.
Cut a layering shape out of Basic White or a coordinating card stock.
Create a focal point for the card by stamping or die-cutting an image to decorate the layering shape.
Glue the two layering pieces together.
Adhere the remaining DSP panel to the inside of the card base.
Attach the z-fold panel on top of the DSP panel right to the edge of the card base.
Fold the z-fold panel closed and close the card on top of it.
Adhere the Die-cut shape to the z-fold panel with dimensionals. Place dimensionals onto the z-fold panel through the "window" of the die-cut piece.
Remove backings and adhere the die-cut shape.
Embellish!
