Project Recipe
Cut Basic Black A4, portrait format at 10.5cm, turn and score at 14.8cm, fold & burnish.
Cut Crushed Curry A4 to 9.5cm x 13.8cm.
Cut DSP to 9cm x 13.3cm
Cut 2 Basic White pieces : 10.5cm x 14.8cm - to stamp on.
And 9.5cm x 13.8cm for the insert.
The larger piece (A6) of Basic White. Place in trimmer in landscape format, cut 1 cm strip and 8mm strip.
Using Crushed Curry Ink, stamp "Happy Birthday" on the 1cm Basic White and "to the man who can" on the 8mm Basic white strip.
(block off the 'do anything' with a scrap of paper prior to inking up the stamp)
Cut Basic Black scraps to1.2cm x 6cm and 8mm x 4.5cm.
Snip the ends of the sentiments at angles and glue onto the Basic Black strips and angle those ends to match.
On the Basic White insert, stamp in Crushed Curry, "thanks for helping me" (block off the 'grow' prior to inking the stamp)
Glue the insert into the card blank.
Pop the remaining basic White card into the stamparatus, line up the following stamps...
* ladder
* rake
* shovel
* trowel
* Shears
* gloves
Stamp them all together in memento ink.
Colour all the images with blends and die cut (fussy cut with snips if you don't have the garden dies)
Also die cut, the hooks from copper foils sheet and the wood plank from Soft Suede card.
Glue the hooks onto the wood plank, equally spaced.
Add a Foam Adhesive strip to ...
- the rear of the plank
- the bottom 2 rungs of the ladder
- the layered sentiments
Also add mini dimensionals to...
- the rear of the shovel head.
- the rear of the rake head
Glue the DSP to the Crushed curry mat and then wrap linen thread around the right end, securing on the back with tear n tape.
Glue this panel onto the card front.
Add the ladder onto the 2nd/middle hooks on the plank, use the height of this to determine placement of the wood plank on the card front, overhanging slightly on the left edge, and having the base of the ladder overhang the DSP onto the Crushed curry layer. Once plank is in place, remove foam backing on ladder and re-position.
Now add the shovel to the right most of the 1st hook set. remove foam backing and secure in place. Now add the rake, leaning behind the left most hook of the 1st set, next to the shovel.
Add the sentiments overlapping and over the thread.
Glue the gloves and trowel to the bottom right corner on the front, below the sentiments.
Glue the shears to the insert, by the sentiment.
Finally, add 3 black classic matte dots to the top right corner, largest at the top and smaller coming down the right edge of the DSP.
