Inside the Lines Celebrate Card

Project Recipe:

1. The Inside the Lines paper is a 12 x 12 paper with 3 sheets of 4 designs. I first cut the paper 4 x 6 and then cut that in half (4 x 3) after I colored it. I used the new Watercolor Pencils in the Occasions catalog and used the Blender pen to blend it out. I tried using the aquapainter first but felt it didn't blend well on this paper. These pencils do blend well with water on watercolor paper. The pencil colors I used were Calypso Coral, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight and Black.

2. Wink of Stella offers a nice bit of bling to the inside of the flower.

3. I cut a piece of Calypso Coral card stock to 3-1/4" x 4 3/8" to layer underneath the colored paper. I then put those layers on Old Olive cut to 3 1/2" x 4 5/8".

   I took some of the Calypso Coral Thick baker's twine and wrapped around all 3 layers and tied into a bow.

4. I chose a base of Whisper White Thick cardstock and stamped my sentiment at the bottom right in Calypso Coral Ink.

   I then added the colored paper layers to the card front with dimensionals.
