Succulent Garden Card #5 Many mini Thanks |

t his is the 5th card in my series of Succulent Garden DSP One Sheet Wonders.

This card starts with an Old Olive card base and is topped with a piece of Succulent Garden Designer Paper cut to 4" x 5-1/4". Before gluing down wrap the designer paper piece with ribbon from the Succulent Garden in Sweet Sugarplum. I simply wrapped the ribbon around to the back and taped down. I then took a small piece of ribbon and tied t around that front strip to create a "bow".
I stamped the greeting on whisper white card stock and then cut out using the stitched shapes framelits in an oval. I then cut out a scalloped oval from the Layering Ovals thinlits in Sweet Sugarplum. I backed that with an Old Olive oval also cut from the Layering Ovals. Love that these all work together seamlessly!
This is a great way to use up your scraps of card stock since they don't require much paper.
I then put them on the card using dimensionals.
Another easy peasy card!
And don't forget the inside! Since the card base is not a light color, I always add a piece of light colored card stock (in this case, white) to the inside so you can easily stamp and write on it. I usually stamp something from the front onto the inside (like a matching flower) and often a sentiment.
