G ift Card Holder using the Coffee Break Suite
|
|
|
Start with a base of Early Espresso cut 4.25 x 11. Score at 1.50 and at 5.50
For the card front layers: Soft Sky 3.75 x 4, Early Espresso, 3.25 x 3.25 and Designer Paper cut out using the largest stitched square.
Stamp the coffee cup and lid on Crumb Cake. Cut out with the Big Shot. Stamp the sentiment on Whisper White and cut out using the Coffee Cups framelits.
Using fast fuse attach the Early Espresso square layer to the Soft Sky piece and place at an angle. Top that with the Coffee Break designer paper square.
Knot a piece of the 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon in Pear Pizzazz and wrap over the front pieces and attach to the card front using Fast Fuse.
Using Mono Tombow glue add the sentiment to the coffee cup. Add the top to the coffee cup with a small amount of glue.
Attach coffee cup to card front with dimensionals.
For the inside of the card:
Using a circle punch (I used a 1-1/4 inch circle punch), punch out a notch on the edge of the base that is scored at 1.50".
Using Tear & Tape, put on the edges of the card holder and seal.
Since the card base is so dark, I cut out a piece of Whisper White that is 4 1/8 x 5 3/8. On the end I attached another piece of Designer paper from the Coffee Break DSP cut 4-1/8 x 1-1/2". (You can cut the paper a little longer, attach and then trim to make sure it covers completely). I then took a 1/4" strip of Early Espresso and attached with glue to the edge of the coffee circles.
The framelits allow you to cut out the small coffee cups from the Designer paper and I cut out one and attached it to the card holder.
