Birthday Memories Card |
|
T his is the birthday card I created for my granddaughter's 5th birthday. A lot of fussy-cutting but fun!

In order to put all the figures I wanted on the front of the card, I made the card a 5 x 7. Cut out your Whisper White Thick Cardstock at 10 x 7 and score in half.
Next I chose the polka dot paper from the Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper (page 189 in the annual catalog) and cut a small strip of the striped paper and layered them together.
Using the paper with the fox, turtle, rabbit and squirrel, I cut out the banner and the fox using the Birthday Friends Framelit dies. Love, love, love that these dies cut out the images from the paper! (You can also stamp the images using the Birthday Delivery Stamp Set and color them yourself!). While I had the Big Shot out, I cut out some birthday gifts from the paper to decorate the inside.
Next I fussy cut the other figures. I also cut out the raccoon to use on the inside. I used Wink of Stella on the cake candles and on the tassels of the party hats.
Using Basic Black archival ink I stamped the sentiment on the banner.
All of the figures are popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals and the new Mini dimensionals.
For the inside, I took a small strip of the polka dot paper and put it on the bottom to mimic the striped on the front. On top of that I lined up some of the cut out birthday gifts (I put Wink of Stella on the ribbons) and adhered using Multipurpose Glue. I also glued down the Raccoon I had cut out.
Using Pacific Point ink, I stamped the birthday sentiment form the Birthday Delivery stamp set
