Carols of Christmas Eclipse Card

1. Cuts & Details:

   Real Red card base--5.5 x 8.5 scored at 4.25
   Whisper White --5.25 x 4 (cut 2)
   Whisper White Scraps
   Basic Black Scraps

   Stamps: Carols of Christmas, Hearts Come Home

   Ink: Garden Green, Real Red and Smoky Slate
   Stampin' Write Markers: Real Red, Garden Green

   Dies: Card Front Builder Dies, Large Letters

   Tools: Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

2. Start by die cutting the large letters out of one of the Whisper White pieces. Die cut more letters using the white (one additional) and black scraps (two additional).

   Put the letters back into holes on the original piece. Stamp the ornaments onto the letters and card front piece. Stamp the snowflakes in smoky slate. To stamp just part of the sentiment stamp (Deck the Halls), you can either use Stampin' Write markers to color it, or mask off the top part. If you mask off, be sure and remove the mask before stamping. Stamp the sentiment at the bottom (after completing this card, I didn't like where I had placed the sentiment. For my class, center the sentiment at the bottom. Stamp the holly and berries on either side. Ink up that stamp using the Stampin' Write markers in Real Red and Garden Green.

3. Attach the white stamped piece to the Real Red card base using Fast Fuse. Glue down any bits that are sticking out.

   Now you will begin to assemble the letters to make them stand out. I glued two black letters together and topped those with a plain white one and then the stamped one. Glue back into the slot where the letters were die cut out.
   FYI: You can also use some foam strips to add the letters back to the card if you want them higher

   Stamp some of the ornaments on scrap paper, die cut out and using the mini dimensionals, add to the card over some that were stamped (works especially great if your stamp did not stamp cleanly on your card front)

4. For the inside of the card--First add the piece of whisper white to the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (or your Xyron if you have one). Then using the Card Front Builder dies, die cut around the edges.

   Stamp your sentiment from the Hearts Come Home stamp set in Real Red.

   Remove the adhesive sheet and put on the inside of the card.
