All the cuts:
Whisper White Thick cardbase- 8.5 x 5.5 scored at 4.25
Perfect Plum, 5.25 x 4
Shimmery White
scraps of Whisper White
I started by stamping the lavender image with Basic Black archival ink onto shimmery white cardstock. I then used my heat tool to completely dry the image (you can also just wait a bit to let it dry). I then watercolored the image using ink from the tops of my ink pads (Perfect Plum, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Pool Party and Old Olive) and my aqua painter. Set aside to dry (it dries really quick).
Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Heartfelt Blooms (also a Sale-a-Bration stamp set) using Perfect Plum ink onto whisper white cardstock scraps. I then die cut that using the next-to-smallest stitched oval from the Stitched Shapes dies. I took a small wedge of sponge and sponged plum ink along the edges to add interest.
I took the Perfect Plum cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot using the Garden Trellis embossing folder.
I adhered the embossed piece onto the Whisper White Thick card base using Fast Fuse. TIP: When you are adding an embossed piece, use a stronger adhesive than snail so the piece remains in place.
I added the doily and took about 24" of gold thread and wound it around and stuck it to the top of the doily with a small piece of Fast Fuse.
I cut out the lavender piece and adhered it to the doily using dimensionals (combination of regular size and minis).
I added the die cut sentiment using dimensionals and the card is complete.
