Bubble Over/Mixed Drink Swap card |
![]() |
I participated in a Masculine Card swap and wanted to use the Bubble Over and Mixed Drinks stamp sets. It's easy to combine the new with the old sets!

Paper Cuts:
Very Vanilla Thick card base, 8.5 x 5.5 and scored at 5.25
Crushed Curry 4-1/8 x 5-3/8
True Gentleman DSP, 3.75 x 5
Very Vanilla 4-7/8 x 3.5
Wood Textures Designer Series Paper
scraps of Crushed Curry and Night of Navy
scrap of Copper Foil
I started by stamping the beer glass in Basic Black archival ink because I wanted to color the beer with my blender pen and ink from the tops of the ink pads. I used Crushed Curry ink to color
the beer in the glass. I used Wink of Stella on the foamy top. You could also use Memento Tuxedo Black to stamp the glass and color with your Blends.
FYI: Always stamp first so that if you have any "oops" you can fix without wasting the entire card.
I stamped the label for the bottle using Night of Navy on Whisper White and die cut the piece using the Bottles & Bubbles thinlit dies. I then sponged some Soft Suede around the edges to add aging.
While at the Big Shot, I die cut the bottle top out of copper foil.
Next, I die cut the bottle out of the Wood Textures DSP using the same dies. I thought the wood look was a bit more authentic to beer bottles.
I die cut the labels for the sentiment so that I could layer them. The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy ink.
Using the Bubble die, I cut it out to create the "drops" of beer going into the glass. If I had thought more about it, I might have die cut raindrops out of the crushed curry to use instead. I covered the dots (I just used 3 of them) with Wink of Stella.
I added the sentiment using Fast Fuse and the bottle top using Fine Tip Glue
