Designer Tin of Cards Samples |
|
T hese are some of the cards you can make using the Designer Tin of Cards. This kit makes 16 cards (although you could cut up some of the bases and make even more) and it features 4 of the designer series papers. It's a great way to try out some of these papers without purchasing the entire packs of paper. I often cut up some of the die cuts or use the negative spaces to make even more cards. Use everything you have! This is such a cute kit with dividers for cards so it makes a great gift! You do need the Designer Tin of Cards stamp set if you want to make them as instructed in the directions.

This kit comes with all the directions you need to make these cards. I changed them up some.
For the Floral Boutique Sending Love card, I changed it up by moving the large flower in front of the tag (instead of behind--it's too pretty to hide!) and I held down the vellum with the washi tape all across the top and the bottom. I used some gold cord (now retired) in addition to the white baker's twine that comes with the kit
For the Celebration card, I colored in the Green balloon diecut (included in the kit) with Stampin' Write markers in Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Tempting Turquoise. To add shimmer,I colored over the markers with Wink of Stella. And don't forget the inside!
For the Moroccan card, I cut down one of the front diecuts so that more of the Moroccan paper could show through and also to give me another strip to use on a different card. I added some of the Night of Navy baker's twine to the white and I used gold Wink of Stella on the sentiment.
For the Affectionately Yours paper card, I decided to change up the sentiment because I needed a "thank you" card rather than a "congratulations". And I changed the orientation from the directions since the sentiment fit better as a horizontal card rather than vertical.
I love this stamp set and use it a lot on other cards. It has some wonderful sentiments. If you get the kit, just remember you can make the cards any way YOU choose!
