W hen I saw this stamp set, I envisioned Charlie Brown. This is such a versatile stamp set! I've seen beautiful cards made with it (and I'll be making some of those cards too) but I wanted to make a funny one.

Project Recipe:

I started with the top layer--3.75 x 5 --of whisper white. I stamped the tree base from Thoughtful Branches in Early Espresso. I wanted it to be a poor Charlie Brown Christmas tree. I used the grass stamp in Early Espresso and Always Artichoke to make the fallen needles at the base of the tree. Using stamps from Peaceful Pines, I stamped the star hanging off the top in Crushed Curry. The ornament was stamped in Real Red.

The sentiment is from the new Greetings from Santa and was stamped in Real Red.

I layered this white top piece on a piece of Brights Designer Paper Stack in Real Red and adhered with snail. Next I wrapped the new Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine around those two pieces three times. I then made a bow around those three pieces. Using Fast Fuse (it works best when you are sticking something that has ribbon on it if you don't want to use dimensionals), I adhered these two layers to a Whisper White Thick Card base.
