Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Emerald Envy Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Soft Suede Cardstock
- 3" square from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 3-1/2" square from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 3" from Emerald Envy Cardstock
Place the piece of Soft Suede Cardstock inside the Pinewood Planks 3D Dynamic Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the card stock inside directly on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place a Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
VERY IMPORTANT: You are using only ONE Cutting Pad. If you try to use two, the sandwich will be too thick and you could damage the Big Shot.
Adhere the dry embossed Soft Suede layer to the front of the Emerald Envy card.
Pick out the scalloped square framelit from the Layering Squares Framelits that cuts out a scalloped square that is 2-3/4" wide. Place the 3" square of Very Vanilla Cardstock on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the scalloped square framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Cut a 10" piece of Emerald Envy 5/8" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon. Wrap the ribbon around the bottom of the scalloped square about 1/2" up from the bottom so the ends of the ribbon stick off to the right.
Cut a 16" piece of Linen Thread. Fold it in half. Tie the Linen Thread around the ribbon ends on the right side of the scalloped square. Tie it in a small bow. Trim the ends. Trim the ends of the ribbon as well.
Adhere the scalloped square with the ribbon wrapped around it to the front of the card on the left side so it is centered top to bottom and about 1/4" in from the left edge of the Soft Suede layer.
Mount the less filled in teddy bear detail image (marked with a tiny 3 on the plastic sheet of images) on Block E. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 3-1/2" square of Very Vanilla Cardstock.
Tip: I find it easier to line up the stamps if I start with the less filled in image (marked 3) first and then stamp image 2 over the top and then, last, image 1 over the top.
Mount the more filled in teddy bear detail image (marked with a tiny 2 on the plastic sheet of images) on Block E. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previous image.
Mount the solid teddy bear image (marked with a tiny 1 on the plastic sheet of images) on Block E. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previous images.
Pick out the smooth square framelit from the Layering Squares Framelits that cuts out a smooth square that is 2-3/8" wide. Place the stamped teddy bear image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the smooth square framelit on top so you cut out the top of the teddy bear. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the teddy bear square to the center of the scalloped square using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Mount the more filled in bow image (marked with a tiny 1 on the plastic sheet of images) on Block B. Ink it up with the Emerald Envy Ink Pad. Stamp off on scratch paper one time and then stamp it on the strip of Very Vanilla Cardstock.
Mount the less filled in bow image (marked with a tiny 2 on the plastic sheet of images) on Block B. Ink it up with the Emerald Envy Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previous bow image.
Unlock the Holly Berry Builder Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped bow image into the punch. Carefully line up the image so it is centered in the bow punching area. Punch.
Adhere the bow to the teddy bear under his chin using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
Pick out the "hugs" thinlit from the Lovely Words Thinlits. Place the Emerald Envy rectangle on the Precision Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the "hugs" thinlit on top so you will cut out the word hugs. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the cardstock.
Cut the word hugs free of any excess cardstock if needed using Paper Snips.
Place the word cut out upside down on one side of a Silicone Craft Sheet. Cut a Stamping Sponge into quarters and clamp the triangle edge of one quarter in a large binder clip. Squeeze a small amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue on one corner of the Silicone Craft Sheet. Dab the sponge into the glue and then lightly onto the back of the word cut out. Flip the word cut out over and adhere it to the front of the card on the right side at a slight upward angle with the beginning of the word down near the ribbon.
