- Designer Series Paper Panels: cut 4 of each @ 1 1/2" x 3 1/2" and 1/2" x 1 1/2" (you can cut your DSP panels at 1 1/2" x 4" and then cut 1/2" off to get your 3 1/2" and 1/2" pieces).
- Size of the pot - 2" x 2" x 4".
- Footprint size - 4" x 4".
Instructions:
1. Fold on all score lines and burnish with a bone folder, go back and forth a few times for flexibility.
2. Shorter area of caddy is the bottom, cut up from the bottom to the second score line. On the 1/2" piece cut up to the second score line and then remove at that point. Cut a small piece off at an angle. Put Tear & Tape on the front side of the 1/2" piece.
3. Turn the caddy over remove the backing from the Tear & Tape, fold the caddy in 1/2 and adhere it to the last panel.
4. Adhere the DSP panels to the cardstock panels, put adhesive on the back of the decorative panels and adhere them to the caddy.
5. Fold up each section and apply liquid glue to the underside of the bottom of the middle section of the caddy (small section).
6. Fold down the bottom piece and adhere to the middle section. Repeat for all 4 pieces.
7. Turn your caddy over and fold the bottom pieces in to create the pot of the caddy. At this point your caddy will fold flat and you can put it into an envelope to mail as a gift to a fellow crafter who needs more space on their work place (you will need to trim 1/2" off each piece on the bottom to fit in the envelope, this will not affect the integrity of the pot).
8. Your caddy if now finished unless you want to glue the bottom pieces in place, once glued it will no longer fold flat.
