Cut cardstock and vellum pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Petal Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 4" from Petal Pink Cardstock
- 3-1/4" square from So Saffron Cardstock
- 3-1/4" square of Petal Pink vellum from Perennial Essence 12" x 12" Vellum Cardstock
Insert the white rectangle into the Beads & Baubles Embossing Folder so the lines of of baubles are vertical on the vertical rectangle. Use the line drawn on the front of the folder to help you line the cardstock up straight. Place the folder with the paper inside on your die cutting and embossing tool and run through the machine.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the God's Peace Set on an appropriately sized block. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the strip of Petal Pink Cardstock.
Adhere the stamped strip of Petal Pink Cardstock to the bottom of the dry embossed white rectangle. Make sure the points on the baubles are pointing up so they look a little like candle flames.
Cut a 4-1/2" piece of Gold 1/4" Shimmer Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the dry embossed white/Petal Pink rectangle so it covers the seam between the two pieces. Secure in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add SNAIL to the back of the dry embossed white rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Petal Pink card.
Mount the candles centerpiece image from the God's Peace Set on Block E. Ink it up with the StazOn Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Petal Pink vellum square.
Pick out the smooth circle die from the Layering Circles Dies that cuts out a smooth circle that is 2-7/8" diameter. Put it on top of the stamped centerpiece vellum square on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the centerpiece is centered. You will be cutting off some of the ribbon images. Run through the tool.
VERY IMPORTANT - Flip the vellum circle cut out upside down so the stamped StazOn image is face down.
If you try to color on the same side as the StazOn stamped image you will RUIN the Stampin' Blends Markers and the StazOn Ink will run and smear messing up the stamped image.
With the stamped vellum UPSIDE DOWN on your Grid Paper start coloring the image with the Stampin' Blends Markers. The markers have a brush tip for coloring in larger areas and a fine tip for coloring in smaller areas.
Use the Light Daffodil Delight Marker to color in the coronas around the flames.
Use the Dark Daffodil Delight Marker to color in the flames.
Use the Light Old Olive Marker to color in the candles.
Use the Dark Old Olive Marker to color in the greenery.
Use the Light and Dark Real Red Markers to color in the poinsettia and ribbons.
Use the Color Lifter Marker as needed to remove excess ink.
Pick out the scalloped circle die from the Layering Circles Dies that cuts out a scalloped circle that is 3-1/16" diameter. Put it on top So Saffron square on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Run through the tool.
Put dabs of SNAIL Adhesive on the StazOn stamped (not Stampin' Blends colored) side of the vellum circle where it will be hidden by the coloring. Adhere the vellum circle to the center of the So Saffron scalloped circle. The more vibrant Stampin' Blends colored side of the vellum should be face up.
Adhere the matted circles to the front of the card so they are centered in the dry embossed white area.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick tool to pick up a large Gold Glitter Enamel Dot being sure to get the adhesive as well. Adhere it to the center of the poinsettia image.
