Hinge Step Stamparatus Happy card |
|
T his card front uses the Stamparatus in a hinge step technique to repeat a message. When you add to a striped card card mat, this makes a card with impact.
Card Base: Cut Pretty Peacock 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Forever Greenery stripe paper 4 X 5 ¼. Attach this paper to Pretty Peacock card base.
Card Front: Cut Pretty Peacock paper 3 X 4 ½.
Cut Just Jade paper 27/8 X 4 ⅜.
Cut Whisper White paper 2 ¾ X 4 ¼
I stamped Happy with Just Jade ink at the top center of the Whisper White card front piece. Move the Stamparatus plate down 1 notch, reink Happy stamp and stamp again. Repeat to have stamped Happy 4 times.
I stamped to celebrate you in Pretty Peacock ink between the two stamped Happy. Move the Stamparatus plate down 1 notch, re ink stamp and stamp again. Repeat this process until you have stamped 4 times.
Attach the stamped white card front to Just Jade card front. Attach Pretty Peacock card front to striped paper on card base.
Attach the stamped white card front/Just Jade card front to Pretty Peacock card front on card with Stampin dimensionals.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
