Project Recipe
Cut Early Espresso Cardstock at 4 1/4" x 11" to make the card base. Score at 5 1/2" and again at 6 1/2" this will form the spine of the book/card.
Cut 1 piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock at 3" x 3 1/4", cut 1 at 4" x 4 1/4".
Cut 1 piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock at 2 3/4" x 3", cut 2 pieces at 3 3/4" x 4" (one of these is used for the inside of card), 1 at .75" x 4".
Cut 1 piece of DSP at .5" x 3 3/4".
Cut 1 piece of DSP at 2 1/2" x 6" for the envelope flap.
Layer the Very Vanilla cardstock centering the smaller piece on top of the larger piece, stamp the taller thin tree from the stamp set Rooted in Nature to one side and the bottom of the larger piece leaving room for the sentiment in the top right corner. Stamp the tree and the sentiment with Early Espresso Ink.
For the inside of the card stamp a sentiment on the piece of Very Vanilla with Early Espresso Ink, you can stamp the 3 leaves in the corner if you wish.
Adhere the 2 pieces of stamped Very Vanilla Cardstock to the pieces of Crumb Cake Cardstock with Seal or Liquid glue.
Adhere the larger of these pieces to the card front using Seal or Liquid glue. Adhere the smaller piece to the card front using diamensionals and lining up your image.
Adhere the piece of DSP to the 3/4" strip of Very Vanilla Cardstock. Adhere this piece to "spine" (between the 2 scored lines) of the book/card.
Glue the spine of the card to the back so the top of the card opens like a book.
Adhere the piece of Very Vanilla with the sentiment and leaves to the inside of the card centering it on the right side of the card.
