NOTE: Always put the Stampin' Pierce mat under your card stock when stamping with Photopolymer stamps to achieve a well-stamped image.
Project Recipe
Dimensions:
So Saffron card base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Bermuda Bay layer: 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" - need two
Early Espresso layer: 4" x 5 1/4" - need two
So Saffron front layer and Very Vanilla inside layer: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Very Vanilla for Ferris Wheel: 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Very Vanilla scraps for cupcake frosting and to punch circle for Ferris Wheel spinner.
Early Espresso scraps to cut cupcake bases
NON STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLY: silver mini brads (retired)
Adhere Bermuda Bay and Early Espresso layers to card front and inside with SNAIL.
Stamp "I love when your birthday comes around" with Early Espresso ink near top of So Saffron layer.
Stamp Ferris Wheel in lower area of So Saffron layer with Bermuda Bay ink.
Adhere to card front with SNAIL.
Stamp the Ferris Wheel on 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" Very Vanilla with Bermuda Bay ink.
Cut out with a scalloped Layering Circle Framelit.
Pierce center of Ferris Wheel with Paper-Piercing Tool.
Punch Very Vanilla circle with circle punch.
Pierce hole in center of circle with Paper-Piercing Tool (not shown)
Insert brad through both pierced holes.
Turn down the legs of the brad on the punched circle side as shown.
Add dimensionals around the brad as shown.
Adhere Ferris Wheel over stamped one on card front with dimensionals.
This will allow the Ferris Wheel to spin!
Stamp cupcake paper on Early Espresso with Early Espresso ink.
Cut with Up & Away Thinlet Die.
Adhere over cupcake papers on the stamped Ferris Wheel with a snippet of a dimensional.
Stamp frosting on Very Vanilla with Bermuda Bay ink.
Cut with Up & Away Thinlet Die.
Adhere to frosting on stamped Ferris Wheel with a snippet of a dimensional.
DO THIS STEP LAST AFTER FINISHING REST OF CARD: Add a thin layer of Fine Tip Glue to each frosting. Sprinkle with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. Lay card flat to dry for several minutes.
Stamp Very Vanilla inside layer as desired.
Adhere inside card with SNAIL.
Stamp Very Vanilla envelope to match your card.
