E aster Card with Cross on the front for Easter Card Class-2024.
Project Recipe
Papers needed:
White cardstock-
~5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4"
~(2) 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" for diecut/front and one inside
~Scrap to diecut 2 extra narrow crosses for front to layer and stack
Colored Cardstock-
~ 4" x 5 1/4" to layer on front
Punch 2-2" circles from the colored cardstock you chose for front. These should be punched out where they will be covered by the scalloped white diecut for the front.
Choose an embossing folder for the colored portion of the front. Put colored layer inside and put through the Stamp n Cut and Emboss machine. Use white thick platform, then embossing folder with paper inside, and then the gray plate over top. Crank through machine.
~Take white scalloped rectangle piece to stamparatus. Place card where it can be stamped with cross. Stamp cross using Crumb Cake ink or a light gray ink, depending on card colors. Restamp image if it isn't how you want it.
~Choose a greenery spray or flower stamp to overstamp on the cross. Stamp in Memento Black or whatever color you choose.
~Stamp any other images you want on card front.
~Color images with blends markers.
~Take the stamped scalloped piece to the Stamp Cut & Emboss machine. Diecut the small cross out of the center of stamped cross. Diecut any other images you want for front.
~Glue stamped cross onto the other two crosses provided to make a stack. Use liquid glue. Less is more.
~Choose inside and outside sentiments for card from supplies sentiments.
~Punch out each with 1 3/4" punch.
~ Glue each onto the larger, colored circles punched out earlier.
~Put three dimensionals onto the back of the sentiment you want on card front.
~Glue colored/embossed layer onto card front.
~Glue stamped white scalloped piece onto card front.
~Glue stacked cross in place
~Adhere front circle onto front with dimensionals.
~Adhere any other decorations onto card front.
Inside assembly-
~Glue the other white scallop piece in place.
~Glue inside circle in place.
~Make a loose knot on a ribbon or choose a twine to decorate card front. Adhere in place with a glue dot.
~Look over card and use rubber eraser to clean up any adhesive.
~Stamp or sign the back of your card.
