Project Recipe
Cutting Instructions: cardstock for card base and matt pieces - cut 1 @ 8 1/2" x 11" scored at 2 1/2" & 4 1/4" on the short side and cut cardstock in half at 5 1/2", trim one of the pieces of cardstock that you just cut by about 1/16" so it is 5 1/2" x 8 7/16"; cut 1 @ 3" x 3 3/4"; cut 1 @ 1 1/4" x 3 3/4"; cut 1 @ 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" (for inside).
2. Glorious Gingham DSP: cut 1 @ 4 1/8 x 5 3/8"; cut 4 @ 2" x 5 3/8".
3. Basic White Cardstock": cut 1 @ 2 7/8" x 3 5/8"; cut 1 @ 1 1/8" x 3 5/8"; cut 1 @ 3" x 4 1/4" (for inside).
4. Ribbon: 12".
Instructions:
- Fold your two card bases accordian style and burnish the folds. Glue the slightly smaller card base inside the second card base to create a gatefold card with Z folds on each side, they should meet in the centre
- Glue the 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" DSP to the inside of the card
- Attach the 2" x 5 3/8" DSP pieces to the 4 panels of the card
- Attach the white 3" x 4 1/4" cardstock to the 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" cardstock and glue it inside your card
- Stamp your sentiment on the 1 1/8" x 3 5/8" white cardstock
- Layer it on the 1 1/4" x 3 3/4'" cardstock with Stampin' Dimensionals
- Create your focal point on the white 2 7/8" x 3 5/8" cardstock
- Wrap the ribbon or trim around the focal point piece and tie with a knot
- Layer it on the 3" x 3 3/4" cardstock with Stampin' Dimensionals
- Attach your focal point to the left front card flap so it is centred on the card front
- Attach your sentiment to the right front card flap so it is centered on the card front
