Framed & Festive Waterfall Christmas Card

Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" from Night Of Navy Cardstock for card base
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Soft Succulent Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of green leaves and red berries on dark blue background design from Fitting Florets 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 9" from Soft Succulent Cardstock scored at 2", 2-3/4", 3-1/2", and 4-1/4" for pull strip
- 1-7/8" x 4-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 2" from Soft Succulent Cardstock
- 4 squares each 2" square from Soft Succulent Cardstock
- 4 squares each 1-7/8" square from Basic White Cardstock
- 3/4" x 4" from Soft Succulent Cardstock

Adhere the piece of Fitting Florets Designer Paper to the center of the 4" x 5-1/4" Soft Succulent rectangle and then adhere that to the center of the Night Of Navy rectangle.

Mount the stem with three branches of round-tip, elongated leaves image from the Eden's Garden Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Soft Succulent Ink Pad. Stamp off on Grid Paper. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp it in the center of the one of the white squares so the stem is pointing slightly down on the right side. Repeat with one of the other white squares remembering to stamp off first. Repeat with the remaining two white squares remembering to stamp off first each time, but this time make sure the stems are pointing slightly down on the left sides. Leave the stamp on the block.

Re-ink the stem with three branches of round-tip, elongated leaves image on Block C with the Soft Succulent Ink Pad. Stamp it full strength on the bottom of the vertical 1-7/8" x 4-1/4" white strip so the stem is pointing up a bit on the left side.

Mount the "falala" sentiment from the Framed & Festive Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of one of the leaf stamped white squares with the stem on the bottom left side.

Mount the "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" sentiment from the Framed & Festive Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of one of the leaf stamped white squares with the stem on the bottom right side.

Mount the "Noel" sentiment from the Framed & Festive Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Soft Succulent Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the other leaf stamped white square with the stem on the bottom right side.

Mount the "May The Season Be Filled With Peace & Joy" sentiment from the Framed & Festive Set on Block D. Carefully ink up ONLY the words "Peace & Joy" using the side of the brush tip of the Night Of Navy Stampin' Write Marker. Breahe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp it in the center of the other leaf stamped white square with the stem on the bottom left side.

Adhere each of the stamped white squares to the center of each of the Soft Succulent squares.

Fold the long strip of scored Soft Succulent Cardstock on the 4-1/4" score mark in a valley fold. Fold the rest of the score lines in a mountain fold. This should make the shorter section of the Soft Succulent strip with multiple score lines arch over the longer, flat portion of the strip.

Adhere the long strip of white with the leaves stamped along the bottom edge to the long, flat portion of the Soft Succulent strip so the leaves are at the bottom. The shorter section of the Soft Succulent strip with multiple score lines should still be arching over this portion.

Pick out the bumpy-topped tag die that cuts out a 1-13/16" wide tag from the Tailor Made Tags Dies. Put it on top of the 1-3/4" x 2" Soft Succulent rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so you cut out the top of the tag. Run through the machine.

Adhere the top of the tag cut out to the BACK side of the bottom of the long, flat section of the Soft Succulent strip.

Unfold the Soft Succulent strip so the attached tag cut out is at the very bottom and you can see the leaf stamped white rectangle. Put a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive across the very top edge of the long Soft Succulent strip.

Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape Adhesive. Adhere the upper end of the Soft Succulent strip to the center of the horizontal 3/4" x 4" Soft Succulent strip so the top edges of each piece are even.

Fold the shorter section with the multiple score lines and the horizontal Soft Succulent strip attached back down over the long, flat section of the Soft Succulent strip. Flip the whole piece over so you can't see the white stamped layer on the long flat section. Put small strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back side of the horizontal Soft Succulent strip ONLY near the outer edges.

WITHOUT ADHERING ANYTHING yet, lay the folded over Soft Succulent strip on top of the card base so the score line at the top of the Soft Succulent strip is even with the top of the designer paper layer and the short ends of the horizontal Soft Succulent strip are even with the right and left edges of the Soft Succulent rectangle on the base. Make sure you can see the leaf stamped white layer on the long, flat portion of the strip. When everything is lined up properly, carefully remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape Adhesive on one side of the horizontal Soft Succulent strip at a time and adhere things in place. The only area adhered to the base should be the left and right ends of the horizontal Soft Succulent strip.

Adhere the matted "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" square to the bottom square area of the short, top section of the Soft Succulent strip where it is adhered to the center of the horizontal Soft Succulent strip.

Put strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the small rectangle of the short, top Soft Succulent strip between the score line at the top and the top of the "Merry Little Christmas" square. Remove the protective backings and adhere the "Peace & Joy" square to the strip so the top of the square is even with the top score line and the bottom overlaps the "Merry Little Christmas" square.

Put strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the small rectangle of the short, top Soft Succulent strip between the score line at the top and the top of the "Peace & Joy" square. Remove the protective backings and adhere the "Noel" square to the strip so the top of the square is even with the top score line and the bottom overlaps the "Peace & Joy" square.

Put strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the small rectangle of the short, top Soft Succulent strip between the score line at the top and the top of the "Noel" square. Remove the protective backings and adhere the "falala" square to the strip so the top of the square is even with the top score line and the bottom overlaps the "Noel" square.

If you've adhered everything properly, you should be able to pull down on the tag at the bottom of the long Soft Succulent strip and that will make each square flip up and over revealing the square beneath it one at a time.

Cut a 6" piece of the White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon so there is a sharp angle on one end.

Feed the angled end of the ribbon through the hole in the tag cut out at the bottom of the card base. Pull the ribbon through until it is even. Holding the ends together, loop the ribbon around on itself to tie a half knot about 1/2" from the bottom of the tag cut out. Trim the ends.

Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up two swirls from the sheet of Gold Adhesive-Backed Swirls making sure you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to either side of the horizontal Soft Succulent strip as shown.
