U se your nesting dies to make this unique Tunnel Card
Project Recipe
Cut your cardstock and dsp:
~Base of card in main color, cut to 4 1/4" x 11". Score with long side up at 4 1/4", 5 1/4", 9 1/2", 10 1/2"
~Cardstock in coordinating color, do two of these in two different colors- 4 1/4" x 5", score 4 5/8", flip cardstock and score at 4 5/8" on other end.
~Cut one color of card stock 4" x 4" for inside of tunnel.
~Basic white card stock- 4" x 4" (for back)
~DSP- 3 pieces that are 4" square, each one different.
On basic white 4" x 4" piece, stamp sentiment you would like on back of card. Decorate this layer as desired.
Stamp front focal point image or sentiment onto the colored 4" x 4" piece or a 4" x 4" piece of dsp, as desired.
Glue into place onto base panel.
~Adhere dsp squares onto the two colored cardstock layers.
~Flip over and put tear n tape onto the side 3/8" scored portions on these two card stock layer.
~Adhere front dsp layer onto long base cardstock piece as shown.
~Adhere front sentiment/tunnel focal point to the layer as shown.
Diecut hexagons-
~Largest die onto the largest paper piece (the base). This is the front dsp portion.
~ Use middle sized die to diecut the center of the panel that you want to be the closest in the tunnel to the front.
~Diecut smallest shape from the remaining colored card stock piece.
Use bone folder and crease on all score marks. The two inserted layers with shapes cut out will have the two ends folded up, not back.
Assemble card:
~Remove tear n tape liner from one end of the layer that has medium size die cut from it. Press onto the side panel on the inside then repeat on opposite side.
~Repeat with the remaining die cut layer but put the two sides next to the side panels adhere on last section.
Put tear n tape or seal onto the small scored end of the card base and press into place to close the card base.
Decorate:
~Cut a 5" piece of ribbon. Tie a loose knot in desired location. Put a glue dot on one end and press into place on back of front panel and do the same on the other end of ribbon.
~Adhere three hexagon shapes onto the card front and one onto the back portion.
~Decorate a standard sized envelope by adding dsp to outer flap or stamp onto envelope onto bottom right corner of front.
