Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Blushing Bride Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of pink and red stripes design from Country Floral Lane 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the stripes are vertical on the horizontal rectangle
- 3-3/8" x 4-5/8" from Blushing Bride Cardstock
- 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
Adhere the striped Country Floral Designer Paper rectangle to the front of the Blushing Bride card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Share A Milkshake Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the spoon image from the Share A Milkshake Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Smoky Slate Ink Pad. Stamp it on the bottom right corner of the horizontal, 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" white rectangle so the handle of the spoon goes off the right edge of the cardstock.
Mount the "celebrate!," "be my valentine," or " life is sweeter with you" sentiment from the Share A Milkshake Set on an appropriate size block. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it along the bottom of the white rectangle just to the left of the stamped spoon image.
Mount the ice cream dish image from the Share A Milkshake Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Smoky Slate Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the horizontal white rectangle so the bottom of the dish is about 1-1/4" from the bottom of the cardstock. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it just to the left of the first stamped dish so the bottoms are in line. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it just to the right of the first stamped dish so the bottoms are in line.
Mount the small, flat-bottomed scoop of ice cream image from the Share A Milkshake Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Blushing Bride Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of the left ice cream dish. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it on top of the right ice cream dish.
Mount the cherry image from the Share A Milkshake Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it on the top of both scoops of ice cream and the bowl of the spoon, remembering to re-ink the stamp each time. Slightly change the orientation of the stamp each time.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the center of the Blushing Bride rectangle.
Cut a 5" piece of the Real Red ribbon from the Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack.
Lay the ribbon across the stamped and layered cardstock rectangle so it is just below the bottoms of the stamped ice cream dishes. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ends of the ribbon in place with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape strips and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Blushing Bride rectangle. Adhere to the front of the card in the center.
Mount the larger ice cream scoop image from the Share A Milkshake Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the smaller white rectangle.
Pick out the matching ice cream scoop die from the Share A Milkshake Dies. Put it on top of the stamped ice cream on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the ice cream scoop cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the top of the center stamped dish.
Cut a 3" piece of the Real Red ribbon from the Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card front so it is just under the left side of the bottom of the left ice cream dish. Tie in place with a half knot. Trim the ends.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up three rhinestones from the sheet of Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them in a straight, evenly spaced line in the bottom left corner of the stamped white rectangle on the card front.
