T his is a slightly different version than the fall dsp card. I'm featuring the "Bee Mine" suite of projects but you can use what you have. This is very adaptable to many occasions and themes.
Project Recipe
Cut paper as follows:
~ Card base/colored card stock-examples shown are Basic White and Sweet Sorbet. Base is 5 1/4" x 5 1/2". Score a line parallel to short side at 1".
~Basic white layer for inside- for the smaller version shown on white card base, cut the layer at 3 1/2" x 4 3/4". For larger version on the red sample/Sweet Sorbet colored base, cut basic white for inside to 4" x 5 1/4.
~DSP (two-sided patterned paper)- cut to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Be sure the orientation of card is going the right direction so your images on the paper aren't going the wrong direction.
Stamping:
~on basic white scraps, stamp bee parts. Use Memento Black for bee's stripes and face.
~on inside layer stamp sentiment of choice such as "Happy Valentine's Day"
Make a small banner using basic white cardstock approximately 1/2" wide. Stamp "bee mine" in Black mememto ink. Dip three edges into ink pad, I used Sweet Sorbet.
~Stamp the bee's "trail" onto the 1" left panel (see samples) on front. I used black memento .
~Stamp wings in solid Petal Pink. Then use the outline stamp and same ink to stamp over the solid part of the wings.
~Lay bee's body where you will want it so determine where to stamp the bee's antennae. Stamp them on the DSP with black ink.
~Punch out wings and bee's body. Also punch two small basic white hearts to adhere to wings
~Put dimensionals onto back of bee's body, both wings and bee mine sentiment strips.
~If you are using a panel on top of the left strip on card (see the yellow on the white sample photo), glue it onto card base. It should have the "trail" on it.
~Adhere bee parts on card front, see samples.
~Glue inside panel in place with an even border around.
~Add embellishments to card front.
