Project Recipe
Cutting Instructions:
- Smoky Slate Cardstock: cut 1 @ 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
- Basic White Cardstock: 4 1/8" x 5 1/2"; scrap to cut the collar
- Well Dressed DSP: cut 1 @ 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score @ 2 1/8" and 6 3/8"; scraps for suit collar, tie, pocket & handkerchief
Instructions:
- Well Dress Designer Series Paper:
* card base - fold on the score lines, burnish with a bone folder.
* with card base closed, center the "V" lapel piece on the front making sure the bottom of the "V" is in line with the opening and top ends are slightly above the top of the DSP so it will cut all the way to the top, trace with a pencil, cut each side separately so that the front will open. Adhere lapel piece to the card front and cut the bottom of the "V" so card will open.
- Basic White Cardstock - place against the left side of the DSP, close the jacket.
- Center the collar piece, and attach only at the top edges so the tie can be slipped under the collar.
- Attach the tie using Multipurpose Glue, slipping it under the collar and centering it on the shirt - helps to close the jacket to make sure it's centered.
- Add adhesive to the left side of the jacket and adhere over the shirt and tie.
- Attach the handkerchief to the back of the pocket.
- Attach the pocket to the front of the right side of the jacket.
Embellish with Rhinestone Basic jewel as a tie tack.
- Stamp sentiment on the Smoky Slate Cardstock and adhere to the inside of the cardbase.
