Project Recipe
Use a book treat box along with the supplies provided to create this project. Here is a map of how to die-cut your images.
Use the Basic Beige ink and a blending brush to add colour to the middle of the Book Treat Box top. Use Lost Lagoon and a blending brush to add colour to the top and bottom of the Book Treat Box. Stamp the ornament image in Lost Lagoon. Repeat, turning the stamp each time to create the pattern shown. Ink the dot in Lost Lagoon and stamp repeatedly as shown.
Assemble the box bottom. Use it as a "place holder" and wrap the book topper around, adhering the flap so the base can slide out to be filled.
Ink the ornament in Lost Lagoon and stamp onto Lost Lagoon cardstock (be sure to leave space for die-cutting leaves and arrows). Die-cut the ornament, and remove from the Lost Lagoon Cardstock. Adhere to the Vellum Circle using Stampin' Dimensionals. Die-cut the gold border, hook and topper and adhere to the ornament with glue dots or liquid glue. Stamp "All is Merry" in Lost Lagoon onto Basic White and die-cut as shown. Adhere over border. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the ornament to the Box.
Embellish the box with the Gold-textured Dots.
Fold the insert along the scored lines. This paper is 3-3/8" x 10-1/2", scored at 2-5/8", 5-1/4", and 7-7/8".
Ink the ornament in Lost Lagoon and stamp onto the opposite side of the fourth panel. Add the hook and the "All is Merry" greeting.
Decorate the far left panel by inking the pine leaves in Lost Lagoon and stamping as shown. Adhere the strip of Season of Elegance paper. Tie a bow with half of the red & white bakers twine and adhere with mini glue dots. Embellish with gold dots as shown.
Add Tear & Tape adhesive to the flaps of the envelope. Stamp the dot in Cherry Cobbler over the envelope, inking each time. Adhere the leaves and berries with mini glue dots or liquid glue. Fold envelope score lines, remove Tear & Tape backing and adhere to the third panel. Stamp "Pull" onto the top, middle of the Basic White paper insert. Slide into the pocket.
On the small piece of two-tone mink cardstock, stamp the leaf in a repeating pattern using Basic Beige. Tear the edge of the cardstock. With the other half of the red & white baker's twine, tie a slip knot at the end. Adhere to the twine to the backside of the mink cardstock with a Stampin' Dimensional. Adhere to the fourth panel
Die-cut two arrows from the Lost Lagoon cardstock. Stamp "pull" on each one. Use mini glue dots or liquid glue to adhere to the red & white baker's twine on the fourth panel, sandwiching them together.
