Falling Flowers Swap Card
Swaps are a fun way to get cards made by others and to get inspired by their ideas. They also put me on a time schedule to get some cards make. So if you ever have the chance to do some swaps, take a chance and do so!
This card is on Whisper White Heavy weight cardstock card base. Next I added a layer of Wild Wasabi at 5-1/8 x 3-7/8; topped that with a layer of Flirty Flamingo at 5 x 3-5/8. The top layer is Whisper White cut at 4-7/8 x 3.5. Using the Falling Flowers stamp set, I stamped the leaves in Wild Wasabi and the small flowers in Flirty Flamingo. I first decided where I wanted my die cut flower and then stamped around that area so the leaves and stems would flow from that flower.
Next I cut out the flower in Flirty Flamingo using the May Flowers framelits. On a scrap piece of Whisper white, I stamped the sentiment from Flourishing Phrases in Flirty Flamingo ink and then die cut it using the Layering Circles framelits and backed it with a piece of Flirty Flamingo cut from the layering circles. I adhered this to the card front with dimensionals. I used some of the In Color enamel shapes scattered on the card
On the inside I stamped another sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set and stamped another stem in the corner. And don't forget your envelope! I stamped one of the little flowers from the front of the card onto the envelope and a row of them one the back flap.
Don't you think this is a cheerful get well card? I think it would cheer me up!
