Project Recipe
Calculate how many candles you need to have. This card has 6 in each section and because I needed 90, I have 15 sections plus the front greeting!
Attach the 16 envelopes together with the adhesive on the envelopes and Snail Adhesive. This will form the background for your VERY LONG card!!
Cut 16 pieces of Night of Navy Cardstock at 5-1/4" x 4". Attach to the envelope card base with Snail Adhesive.
Use the Happy Birthday Thinlits and the Big Shot to cut the greeting from Copper Foil Sheets. Use the Paper Snips to cut the greeting apart. Attach to the front of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue making sure to leave enough space in between for the numbers.
Use the Large Numbers Framelits and the Big Shot to cut the number from Copper Foil Sheet and from the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to attach the Glimmer number over the Copper number making it offset to form a shadow. Attach to the front of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Use the "th" from the Number of Years stamp set with Night of Navy Classic Ink to finish the number part of the greeting. Cut out with the tag from the Large Numbers Framelits and the Big Shot. Attach near the top of the numbers with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
Using your choice of Designer Series Paper, cut the number of candles needed at 1/2" x 3". Use Snail Adhesive to attach to 6 to each Night of Navy layer in a pattern of your choice. For this card, I used Carried Away DSP.
Use the Bird Builder Punch to create a "flame" for each candle by punching a wing out of Daffodil Delight Cardstock. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to attach the flames above the candles.
