Project Recipe
Cut a piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock at 4 1/4" x 8 5/8" and score at 5 1/2". Fold the cardstock so the small panel is on the left and the longer panel is on the bottom. This will be your card base.
Cut a piece of Flower & Field DSP at 2 7/8" x 4. Adhere this DSP to the left panel.
Cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock at 2" x 7". Score at 3 1/2". Fold in half and turn so it looks like a backwards book. This will be the buckle.
Using the Best Year stamp set and Memento Black ink, stamp a sentiment on a piece of Whisper White cardstock that is cut to 1 3/4 x 3 1/4. Be sure to stamp the greeting high on the white cardstock to leave room for the strip of DSP that will be added later. Adhere this piece to the inside of the left panel of the buckle using liquid glue.
Cut a piece of Flower & Field DSP at 1" x 3 1/4". Adhere this strip to the bottom half of the greeting label.
Cut a piece of Just Jade cardstock to 2 1/4" x 3 3/4". Adhere this to the centre of the inside of the card base using liquid glue. Adhere the back of the left panel of the buckle to the Just Jade cardstock.
Using the Classic Label Punch, punch a rectangle hole on the left panel of the card base, approximately 1 inch in from the right edge. This will be the buckle hole.
Using the Daisy Punch and Whisper White cardstock, punch out two daises. Adhere the two daisies together using either a dimensional or a glue dot. Make sure the petals are offset and not stacked directly on top of one another. Place a yellow Playing with Patterns resin dot in the centre of the daisy.
Close the buckle card by inserting the buckle into the buckle hole. Using a dimensional or a glue dot, adhere the daisy to the visible part of the buckle.
