used 2 techniques in this layout: masking and punch art.
CS: Card Stock
DSP: Designer Series Paper
P: Punch
Project Recipe
Cut CS as follows:
Baked Brown Sugar (or Crumb Cake): (2) 12" x 12"
DSP: (2) 4" x 6"; (2) 3" x 3"; 6" x 12" (all in varying designs for stockings and photo mats.
Whisper White CS: 3' x 6"; 2" x 5"
Chocolate Chip: 3/4" x 5-1/2"; 3/4" x 11"
Jute: 8"; 12"
Punch Art: scraps of Garden Green, Blushing Bride and Red Glimmer paper.
Using sponge dauber and Cherry Cobbler ink, make imperfect bricks using mask across an upper section of page 1 and lower right corner of page 2. You may come back with White ink to add some texture over Cherry inked bricks.
Adher Chocolate Chip mantle pieces above bricks.
Cut and punch stockings as shown. Cut year with little number thinlits and glue to small stocking. Use clothes pins and glue dot to adhere to jute and CS.
Stamp gingerbread man in Chocolate Chip ink and Eskimo in Black ink and punch out. Stamp candy cane in Cherry Cobbler and fussy cut out. Place in large stocking and adhere with dimensionals.
