Project Recipe
Cut and score your card base (A2) landscape orientation. Remember to burnish the fold. Set aside
Artwork Panel #1: Cut a piece of Basic White (BW) cardstock to 3 3/4" x 5". In the first card, using the distinctive image only, stamp the biggest Dahlia image in opposite corners: 1x in Flirty Flamingo, 1x in Mango Melody.
Next, mask the Dahlia image then stamp the distinctive leave image in Granny Apple Green
On a scrap piece of BW, stamp the sentiment, punch out with the Postage Stamp punch. Add dimensionals, position on the artwork panel.
Add embellishments
Artwork Panel #2: Repeat the process in step 3 by stamping the largest Dahlia image in opposite corners.
In this stepped-up version, we'll use the 2-step stamping technique to add depth. Stamp the more image isd outline shape over the distinctive image in Flirty Flamingo. One image will be tone on tone, the other image will be accented.
Again, mask the Dahlias then stamp the leaves using the same 2-step stamping process.
Stamp the sentiment directly onto the artwork panel (centered)
Optional: double heat emboss to add more texture.
Then using your chosen label die (or punch) cut out the sentiment and add Stampin' dimensionals.
Using your preferred Embossing Folder, dry emboss a piece of Mango Melody cardstock (4 1/8" x 5 3/8")
Position this Mango Melody panel on the cardbase.
Assembly (for both cards)
Add the artwork panel to the card base with your favorite adhesive. (note: on the stepped-up version, use either liquid glue or Stampin' Seal C+)
On the stepped-up version, add the sentiment panel back to the punched-out area.
Add any other embellishments as desire.
