P retty monochromatic Easter card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pool Party Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of white flowers on light blue background design from Softly Stippled 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/8" x 4-7/8" from Pool Party Cardstock
- 2" x 4-3/4" from Basic White Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Softly Stippled Designer Paper to the front of the Pool Party card.
Mount the smaller dogwood branch with buds image from the Detailed Dogwood Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Pool Party Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vertical white rectangle so it is about 1/4" from the top edge.
Mount the Easter sentiment from the Heartfelt Hellos Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pool Party Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vertical white rectangle so it is about 1/4" from the bottom edge.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the center of the Pool Party rectangle.
Adhere the matted white rectangle to the front of the card so it is centered top to bottom on the left side about 1/2" from the left edge.
Cut a 4" piece of the Pool Party 5/8" Crinkle Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card as shown so it is centered over the bottom of the dogwood branch.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 2 large Pool Party gems from the sheet of Opaque Faceted Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them in a straight line down in the upper right corner of the card as shown.
