S imple, pretty thank you cards using a 2018 Sale-A-Bration Set and 2017-2019 In Colors from Stampin' Up!
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from 2017-2019 In Color Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 2-3/8" x 5-1/2" matching color floral bouquets on white background design from Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stick
- 4 squares each 2" square from same color cardstock
- 3-1/2" square from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 5" from Whisper White Cardstock
Adhere the strip of Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper across the front of the card about 1" up from the bottom.
Pick out the stitched square framelit from the Stitched Shapes Framelits that cuts out a 1-5/8" square. One at a time, place a colored cardstock square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the stitched square framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Without adhering, place the cut out squares on the card front on the left side so they are evenly spaced. When you are happy with the placement of the squares, adhere them in place one at a time.
Mount the flower bouquet image from the Heartfelt Blooms Set on Block E. Ink it up with the matching color ink pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square.
Pick out the stitched square framelit from the Stitched Shapes Framelits that cuts out a 2-5/8" square Place the stamped white square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the stitched square framelit on top so it is centered over the part of the flower bouquet image you want to use. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the flower bouquet square to the card front so it is centered over the four colored squares.
Mount the "thank you" sentiment on Block G. Ink it up with the matching color ink pad. Stamp it in the center of the white strip.
Pick out the long banner framelit from the Cupcake Cutouts Framelits. Place the stamped sentiment on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the long banner framelit on top so it is centered over the sentiment. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use the tip of the Bone Folder to firmly trace both score lines on either end of the sentiment banner. This will make it easier to fold the banner ends to create a slightly popped up banner. Fold on the score lines and press the folds firmly in place with the Bone Folder.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals in the middle of the banner to adhere the banner to the card front so it overlaps the floral square on the right side and the notches are in line with the bottom of the designer paper strip.
Pick out 3 different sized sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment and adhere them in place on top of the floral square using tiny dots of Fine-Tip Glue Pen. Make a rough triangle shape with the sequins.
I used iridescent sequins on the Powder Pink card, silver ones on the Berry Burst and Fresh Fig cards, copper ones on the Tranquil Tide card, and gold ones on the Lemon Lime Twist card.
If you make different colored cards, be sure to clean the stamps in between colors using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist.
