Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Mango Melody Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
- 2-5/8" x 3-7/8" from Mango Melody Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" of orange and pink ombre hills design from Enjoy The Journey 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the design is horizontal on the vertical rectangle and is mostly orange
- 1-1/2" x 2" from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2" of rows of small stars on dark orange background design from Dandy Designs 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 1" x 2-1/2" from Mango Melody Cardstock
Insert the large Pumpkin Pie rectangle into the crosshatched embossing folder from the Basic 3D Embossing Folders set. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed Pumpkin Pie rectangle to the front of the Mango Melody card.
Mount the steps, doorway, and wall image from the In The Country Cling Stamp Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it on the vertical rectangle of Enjoy The Journey Designer Paper so it is centered.
Adhere the stamped designer paper rectangle to the center of the large Mango Melody rectangle.
Mount the "hello" sentiment from the Inspired Thoughts Cling Stamp Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small strip of Mango Melody Cardstock so it is slightly closer to the right side.
Pick out the notch ended, skinny label die from the Cracker & Treat Box Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment with the sentiment on the right side. Run through the machine.
Adhere the sentiment label cut out to the back of the matted main image so it sticks out on the lower right side about 3/8" from the bottom and you can see the word "hello".
Adhere the matted main image with sentiment label attached to the front of the card so the left edge is about 3/8" from the left edge of the card and it is centered top to bottom.
Use Stampin' Seal to adhere the stars piece of Dandy Designs Designer Paper to the Pumpkin Pie rectangle so that the stars pattern is face up.
Pick out the box die from the Cracker & Treat Box Dies. Put it on top of the designer paper/cardstock on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the designer paper is face up and you'll cut out two diamond shapes. Run through the machine.
Adhere the diamond shape cut outs to the right edge of the front of the card as shown so they are centered between the right edge of the matted main image and the right edge of the card and they are centered between the top of the matted main image and the top of the sentiment label cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to peel up one large dot from the sheet of Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots making sure you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the card front so it covers the points where the two diamond shape cut outs meet.
Cut a 3" piece of the Early Espresso 1/4" Faux Suede Trim.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card as shown at a slight angle in the notch formed between the bottom of the sentiment label cut out and the right side of the matted main image.
