P retty Easter card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of green leaf stems on light green background pattern from Love What You Do Specialty Designer Series Paper, cut so leaf stems are vertical when the paper is horizontal
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" of one of the darker wood designs from the Wood Textures 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 2-1/4" from Tranquil Tide Cardstock
- 1-7/8" x 2-1/8" from Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets
- 1" x 1-1/2" from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
- 7/8" x 1-1/8" from Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets
- 1" x 3-1/2" from Mint Macaron Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Share What You Love Designer Series Paper to the front of the Rich Razzleberry card.
Pick out the large, open cross framelit from the Cross of Hope Framelits. Place the Wood Textures Designer Paper rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the cross framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Cut a 5-1/2" piece of Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Velvet Ribbon.
Loop the velvet ribbon over the cross bars of the cross so the loose ends hang down the sides of the cross on the front. Use a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the loop of ribbon to the back of the cross.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape Adhesive and add SNAIL to the back of the cross. Adhere the cross with ribbon looped over it to the center of the front of the card so the left side of the cross is about 1" from the left side of the card.
Trim the loose ends of the ribbon into angles, but leave them loose for now.
Carefully peel up the protective backing on one side of the larger piece of the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet and adhere the adhesive sheet to one side of the Tranquil Tide rectangle. Leave the other protective backing piece in place.
Place the piece of Tranquil Tide on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot so that the adhesive side (with protective backing in place) is on the bottom (Tranquil Tide facing up).
Pick out the single flower, two berries/buds, and two leaves stem thinlit from the Flourish Thinlits. Place it on top of the Tranquil Tide Cardstock piece on the Big Shot. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush and Paper-Piercing Tool to remove the pieces. Keep the thinlit out for use on a later step.
Carefully peel up the protective backing on one side of the smaller piece of the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet and adhere the adhesive sheet to one side of the Rich Razzleberry rectangle. Leave the other protective backing piece in place.
Place the piece of Rich Razzleberry on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot so that the adhesive side (with protective backing in place) is on the bottom (Rich Razzleberry facing up).
Locate the single flower, two berries/buds, and two leaves stem thinlit from the Flourish Thinlits. Place it on top of the Rich Razzleberry Cardstock piece on the Big Shot so you'll cut out the flower. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush and Paper-Piercing Tool to remove the pieces.
Use Paper Snips to trim off any excess cardstock from the Rich Razzleberry flower cut out.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the back of the Rich Razzleberry flower cut out. Adhere it over the flower on the Tranquil Tide flower, berries, and leaves stem cut out so everything is lined up.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the back of the Tranquil Tide flower, berries, and leaves stem cut out. Adhere it to the card front so the bottom of the stem overlaps the bottom right side of the cross a bit and the leaf on the left side of the stem overlaps the right cross bar of the cross.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Itty Bitty Greetings Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Mint Macaron strip.
Pick out the long, single, open banner framelit from the Bunch of Banners Framelits. Place the stamped sentiment on the Mint Macaron strip on a Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on your Big Shot. Place the banner framelit on top so the sentiment is on the right side. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Poke out the banner with the sentiment and keep it. Also use the Paper-Piercing Tool to poke out the outline banner that is probably stuck inside the framelit, remove it, and throw it away. If you don't remove it, then you will have trouble cutting with this framelit the next time you use it.
Adhere the sentiment banner cut out to the front of the card so the left side overlaps the right side of the cross and the bottom of the stem.
Use a Mini Glue Dot or a small piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the loose ends of the ribbon to the card front.
