Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pecan Pie Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of lines of connected hearts on swirly white and brown background design from A Little Latte 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the lines are vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 2-3/4" x 4" from Pecan Pie Cardstock
- 2-5/8" x 3-7/8" of groups of tiny white coffee beans on orangish pink background design from A Little Latte 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/4" x 5" from Petal Pink Cardstock
- 3/4" x 3-1/4" from Pecan Pie Cardstock
- 3/4" x 2-1/4" from Petal Pink Cardstock
Adhere the piece of strings of hearts A Little Latte Designer Paper to the front of the Pecan Pie card.
Adhere the piece of coffee beans A Little Latte Designer Paper to the center of the large Pecan Pie rectangle.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Natural 3/8" Polka Dot Trim.
Lay the trim across the matted cardstock/designer paper rectangle so it is about 3/4" from the bottom. Fold the ends of the trim over and secure the trim in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Pecan Pie rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the card so it is centered side to side and is about 1/2" from the top.
As you are ready to stamp using the Latte Love Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the mug side view image from the Latte Love Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Calypso Coral Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the horizontal, large Petal Pink strip leaving room to cut it out. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it again on the other end of the strip.
Pick out the matching mug die from the Latte Love Dies. Put it on top of one of the stamped images on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine. Repeat with the other image.
Mount the flattened oval, coffee liquid image from the Latte Love Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Pecan Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the remaining, thin Pecan Pie strip leaving room to cut it out. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it again on the other end of the strip.
Pick out the matching coffee liquid die from the Latte Love Dies. Put it on top of one of the stamped images on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine. Repeat with the other image.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the coffee liquid cut outs to the centers of the tops of the mug cut outs as shown.
Use Stampin' Seal to adhere one of the mug cut outs to the card front at a slight angle as shown so it overlaps the left edge of the matted designer paper rectangle a bit and is about 1/2" from the top of the designer paper rectangle.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the other mug cut out to the card front at a slight angle as shown so it overlaps the right edge of the matted designer paper rectangle a bit and is about 7/8" from the top of the designer paper rectangle. It should overlap the right side of the previous mug a bit as well.
Unlock the Banners Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the remaining, thin Petal Pink strip into the right side of the punch (the side of the punch with the inward notch) as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch. Repeat on the other end.
Mount the tiny "this one's on me" sentiment from the Latte Love Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Pecan Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the notched Petal Pink strip.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment punch out to the front of the card as shown so it is centered over the bottom edge of the matted designer paper rectangle.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Natural 3/8" Polka Dot Trim.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card front. Tie in place with a half knot so it is centered. Trim the ends.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 dark brown dots from a sheet of Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the card front as shown.
