Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, foil sheets, and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Calypso Coral Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Petal Pink Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of groups of tiny white coffee beans on orangish pink background design from A Little Latte 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/4" square of pink, yellow, and brown plaid design from A Little Latte 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 3/4" x 2" from Gold 12" x 12" Foil Sheets
- 3/4" x 2-1/2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 3/4" x 1-3/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
Adhere the large piece of coffee beans A Little Latte Designer Paper to the center of the Petal Pink rectangle and then to the front of the Calypso Coral card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Latte Love Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the tiny "this one's on me" sentiment from the Latte Love Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Pecan Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it on the left end of the thin, 3/4" x 2-1/2" horizontal vanilla strip leaving room to cut out the notch.
Pick out the notched strip die from the Happy Little Things Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it will cut a notch on the left side of the sentiment and the sentiment is centered top to bottom in the die. Run through the machine.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the sentiment strip cut out to the front of the card so it is about 1" from the bottom and notched left edge is about 1-3/4" from the left side.
Mount the mug side view image from the Latte Love Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the plaid A Little Latte Designer Paper rectangle.
Pick out the matching mug die from the Latte Love Dies. Put it on top of the stamped image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Adhere the mug cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the sentiment strip just to the right of the sentiment and the bottom of the mug is about 3/4" from the bottom of the card.
Mount the flattened oval, coffee liquid image from the Latte Love Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Pecan Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining thin vanilla strip.
Pick out the matching coffee liquid die from the Latte Love Dies. Put it on top of the stamped image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the coffee liquid cut out to the center of the top of the mug cut out as shown.
Pick out the open, spoon die from the Latte Love Dies. Put it on top of the Gold Foil strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the white side of the foil sheet is face up. Put a piece of copy paper between the foil sheet and the cutting plate on the platform to protect the foil from scratches cut into the cutting plate or use a fresh, new cutting plate. Run through the machine.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals or bits of dimensionals cut from the edges of the sheet of dimensionals to adhere the gold foil spoon gold side up to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the bottom of the mug and the bottom right side of the sentiment strip a bit.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Natural 3/8" Polka Dot Trim.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon trim so the dots are face up. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card at a slight angle as shown so it is centered just below the base of the handle on the right side of the mug.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 Petal Pink and 2 white dots from a sheet of Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them in a rough triangle to the upper left corner of the card front as shown.
