use metallic foil and an embossing folder to create a simply beautiful card in minutes!
foil piece 3.75" by 5"
Early Espresso piece 5.25" x 8 .5"
Crumb Cake piece 5.5" x8.5" , score at 4.25"
Project Recipe
use the 3D magnolia embossing fold to run the copper foil piece tbrough the Big Shot. Use the green cutting platform and a single clear blue colored acrylic embossing plate OR use an older clear embossing plate and a shim to emboss the foil.
Stamp "hello" sentiment from "To a Wild Rose" stamp set onto a scrap of Crunb Cake cardstock and punch out with small oval punch.
Use the scalloped oval punch to cut a slightly larger scalloped oval piece of Early Espresso then adhere the stampdd oval to the scalloped oval, use mini dimensionals to attach the layered sentiment to the top right corner of the foil piece. (or use whichever corner has the most flat/unembossed area).
adhere the copper layer to the Early Espresso layer then attach that to the folded Crumb Cake cardstock base.
Use Early Espresso classic ink and Very Vanilla cardstock piece to stamp "Blessed and grateful to be your friend" or substitute desired sentiment of your choice. Adhere this panel to the inside of your card.
This card would look beautiful with some coordinating ribbon but in the end I preferred to let the copper foil be the focus of this project.
This would be a great card for birthday, sympathy or almost any occasion and also suitable for a man or a woman. I hope that you liked this project...enjoy!
