A cute card featuring the Nine Lives Stamp Set and Cat Punch.
Project Recipe
Cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock to measure 8"x6" then, with the long edge butted up to the top of your trimmer, score at 4".
Fold the card at the scoreline, using a bone folder to burnish the fold for a crisp finish.
Using the 'Ball of Wool' detailed image stamp from the Nine Lives Stamp Set and Blueberry Bushel Classic Stampin' Ink, randomly stamp the image all over the front of your card base as shown.
Using the sentiment stamp 'A friend like you comes around ONCE in nine lives.' and Blueberry Bushel ink, stamp the image on a scrap of Whisper White card stock big enough to accommodate the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.
Using the Stitched Shapes Oval, line it up over the stamped sentiment so that it is in the right hand half of the oval as shown.
Using a Stampin' Sponge, ink the edges of the oval with Blueberry Bushel ink.
Using the Cat Punch and Basic Black card stock, punch out one shape.
Using the Dog Builder Punch and Rich Razzleberry card stock, punch out two hearts.
Attach the oval panel to the front of your card, slightly over to the right to allow room for the ribbon, using liquid adhesive. Attach to this the cat and hearts as shown.
Using Tear and Tape, attach a length of Black/Silver Metallic Ribbon to left hand side of the card front, approx 1/2" in from the left hand edge, pulling it to keep it straight.
Taking a second piece of ribbon, make a bow (I use the 'bunny ears' method. If you've not seen this, search for it on YouTube and you will find lots of videos showing you how). Using 2 Glue Dots, attach the bow to the top of the ribbon strip as shown.
Congratulations - you have completed your card. Now sit back and admire your work!
