Project Recipe
Cut the cardstock as follows:
a) Coastal Cabana - (1) 4-1/4" x 11", (1) scrap
b) Whisper White - (1) about quarter sheet
c) Real Red - (1) scrap
d) Crumb Cake - (1) scrap
e) Chocolate Chip - (1) scrap
f) Pumpkin Pie - (1) scrap
Score the Coastal Cabana cardstock at 3-1/2", 7", 8", and 10-1/2". Fold all score lines. Use the corner rounder on the top two corners of the strip.
Cut one piece of the Designer Series Paper to 2-1/4" x 4-1/4". Adhere it with Liquid Glue, centered onto the cardstock between the 8" and 10-1/2" folds.
Use the large oval punch to put an opening into the DSP and cardstock at about 9", to line up with the tissue pack opening.
Form the box shape by folding the four bottom sections of the cardstock up and around so that the DSP is on the top. Use Fast Fuse to adhere the 1/2" flap to the back vertical panel of the box. (Note that it will only reach to about 1/2" above the score line.)
Cut another strip of the same DSP to 4-1/4" x 3/4" and adhere it to the bottom, front panel of the box.
Cut a coordinating piece of DSP to 4-1/4" x 1" and adhere it to the back panel, about halfway up.
Use the Stampin' Write Markers to ink the "sick" stamp; stamp it on a piece of Whisper White cardstock cut to about 4" x 2-1/2". Use the Chalk Talk Framelit to cut the cardstock into a label shape, and adhere it across the DSP strip.
Using scraps of cardstock, punch and assemble the owl as shown in the picture. (Punch an additional white body to make the nurse's hat, and the Red Cross symbol from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack.) Use the Liquid Glue to put the owl together, then adhere it to the box with Dimensionals.
