S IP cards--Stamps, Ink, and Paper--require few supplies. The only supplies I used for this card in addition to stamps, ink, and paper are a sponge, and a paper trimmer.
Project Recipe
1. For the card on the left, create a card base from Seaside Spray cardstock cut at 11" x 4 1/4" and scored at 5 1/2".
For the card on the right, create a card base from Soft Sea Foam cardstock cut at 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4.
2. For each card cut two pieces of Whisper White cardstock at 5 1/4" x 4. One is for the card front and the second is for the inside.
3. For the card on the left sponge Seaside Spray ink across the top 2/3 of the white cardstock. Use a light touch and dab the ink on with very little pressure. I suggest you practice doing this on scrap cardstock until you achieve the desired effect.
Then on the bottom 1/3 of the white cardstock sponge Seaside Spray ink using the same process.
4. For the card on the left, stamp two of the larger images in the Beautiful Moments stamp set using Smoky Slate ink.
Then, stamp the birds, plant growth, and butterflies again using Smoky Slate ink.
5. Adhere the finished piece to the Soft Sea Foam card base.
6. For the card on the right, follow the same process.
Sponge Seaside Spray ink on the top 2/3 of the card and Soft Sea Foam across the bottom.
Use Smoky Slate ink to stamp the images.
Add the finished piece to the Seaside Spray card base.
7. For each card, stamp one of the sentiments in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
8. For each card adhere the second white cardstock piece inside the card and decorate as desired.
