T
his card uses the Brushed Gold Cards & Envelopes but with a modification. I cut the card base into 2 pieces and trimmed it down to 4" x 5 1/4".
It also used the Hybrid Embossing folder which allows you to cut and emboss an image at the same time!

Brushed Gold Cards
- Cut the card base in half, then trim
down to 4" x 5 1/4". You get 2 card
front layers from each card base.
Instructions:
Score and burnish the Night of Navy card base.
Wrap the gold ribbon around the gold and white card layer about 3/4" from the layer bottom. Adhere the ends to the back of the layer with double-sided adhesive.
Adhere the gold and white layer to the Night of Navy card front.
Using dimensionals, attach the gold foil strip over the gold ribbon.
Using the label die, cut the 3 1/4" x 1 1/2" piece of Basic White.
Stamp the sentiment on the die cut using Night of Navy ink. Adhere the sentiment over the gold foil strip using double-sided adhesive.
Using the 2 5/8" x 2" piece of gold foil, die cut one small 4-pointed star (use the small star die that fits into the largest star die).
Take the Stars at Night Hybrid Embossing folder and open it flat on your work surface. Take the die that has the 3 stars and place it over the 3-star section of the embossing folder with the cut side facing up. TIP - I've found the easiest way to do this is to open the embossing folder so that the side with the black SU! logo is on the right-hand side. Then place the die (cut side up) over the 3-star image. You should feel it move into place over the embossing folder.
Place the 2 5/8" x 3 1/2' piece of Night of Navy over the largest star of the die (the center one). Close the embossing folder and run it through the Cut & Emboss machine (make sure the hinged side goes in first). If you are using SU!'s machine, the sandwich should be Base (#1), the embossing folder and plate #4 (the gray plate).
Attach the gold die cut start to the Night of Navy star using double-sided adhesive or glue dots. If using liquid glue, apply a light amount so that it doesn't seep out from under the gold star.
Attach the assembled star to the front of the card (just over the sentiment) using dimensionals.
Apply the star embellishments.
Stamp the sentiment and stars on the Basic White 4" x 5 1/4" layer and adhere it to the inside of the card.
You are finished!
