Project Recipe
Use Blushing Bride ink pad to ink up the Gingham Embossing folder. Place your Blushing Bride card stock carefully inside (I place it on the non-inked side in case it slips a bit), then run through your Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine.
There are many little heart dies in the Sweet Hearts Die set. Center the little ones of your choice in the centre of the Pool Party card stock and cut out some little hearts (I used 3 but it's totally your choice). Don't worry that you're cutting up your matte piece, as this will be covered by the shimmer white piece. At the same time, cut out two of the little envelopes from Blushing Bride scrap piece.
Using the second largest of the rectangle dies from the Stitched So Sweetly dies, cut one from the Shimmery White. This paper really lends itself to adding a water colour element, without a lot of buckling. It's the next best thing to water colour paper but with a slight shimmer. Fill your Water Painter with water, squeeze your stamp pad to transfer ink to the lid (or use a couple of drops of refill ink in the lid). Squeeze a few drops of the water onto the ink and create a colour wash. Then, spatter either some of the pool party or Blushing Bride ink onto the water coloured area.
Layer the water coloured Shimmer White piece onto the Pool party rectangle, then layer that on to the Gingham embossed pieced, on a slight angle.
Stamp the small sentiment onto a piece of scrap Basic White and fussy cut into a small square. Fussy cut one of the dialogues hearts from the Sweet Talk DSP. Fold and create your little envelopes and insert the heart into one of the envelopes. Glue the sentiment on to the back of the other envelope. Situate and adhere your elements to your liking.
